There is absolutely nothing better than a busy week at Girlfriends. This week is going to just one of those weeks.
Lisa is ready for her Yearology Workshop. It is such an amazing workshop. This is one of those rare projects that sets my imagination flying. It can hold dozens of pictures so I can imagine filling it with pictures, memorabilia, ephemera, letters, and more. Almost like a smash book but perfect as a coffee table scrapbook. I cannot wait to complete mine because I am always looking for ways to use the pictures I print off the family blog.
The workshop is Saturday January 22nd at 11am. Cost is $59.95 and as always the class kit includes all the materials to complete the project. Please bring your basic kit including adhesive, scissors, trimmer, chalk pad, etc.
We have gone through the shop cleaning and purging and in the process we have found dozens of projects we are ready to part with. That is good new for any of you who want to pick up a premade item as a gift of for yourself. There is a cupboard full of Girlfriends goodies for you to choose from but remember to come in early for the best selection. INVENTORY We have always been blessed with wonderful GIRLFRIENDS who have willingly helped us over the years with our yearly inventory. We are in need of your help again. This Sunday January 22nd we will be doing inventory from 10 am until it is done. This usually takes 2-3 hours and the more the merrier. You know the saying many hands make light work...well that is exactly right. As a huge thank you for your help we will give each of our worker bees a Girlfriends Gift Certificate. Last weekend Lisa set up a celebration for my 59th birthday! We had a wonderful time and I had a great day. I want to thank the girls who celebrated with us, thanks to all of you for the wonderful gifts and cards and a big thanks for blowing up my facebook with all the birthday wishes. I read each and every one with joy and thanks for my amazing friends.
Now it is time for me to go to bed and think of all the new product coming soon to Girlfriends and what we are going to do with it! I feel a storm coming on!
