We wish you the Happiest of Thanksgivings!
Each year brings it's own changes and challenges. This year is no exception. We are both breaking with some traditions and are both creating new ones. For Lisa it is her first year without her mom. She has adapted to a new Thanksgiving tradition. For me it is the first year without Thanksgiving in my home. I will be the guest and not the cook. Both of us are adapting to a new phase in life and both of us are thankful for family and friends who help us along the way.
We wish each of you a very Happy Thanksgiving. We are so grateful for our girlfriends. We simply don't know what we would do without you. It is a blessing to see so many of you throughout the year. To know your names and to share a hug. Girlfriends is a different kind of place. When Lisa came up with the name for the shop six years ago she knew what I didn't...that it would live up to it's name. That we could all become friends. This is a blessing.
As I look back on the past year and all the things for which I have to be thankful I realize over and over how very much Lisa means to me. I love her as a sister. I know she loves me too. We share everything and I don't know what I would do without her in my life. She reminds me to take my meds, take a breath, get back to business, and a million other things every day. She lets me play auntie to Kelsie, grandma to Bella and friend to her friends.
This is a week for giving thanks...so....Thank You. Thank you for supporting us, being patient with us, laughing and crying with us, and for being our Girlfriends.
