being {frustrated}!

 
Early last week I upgraded to IE9 as suggested by my email host.

For a full week I have been trying to post anything....ANYTHING!....on this blog but for reasons beyond my understanding I couldn't.  Today I finally found out the IE9 is not compatible with this blog.  They don't like one another and they refuse to play nice.  I have fixed the problem {keeping my fingers crossed} so I am live and in color on the blog again.

 

This week is a fun one at Girlfriends!  We have our annual Christmas in July beginning on Friday night with part 1 of the Christmas Carousel Workshop.  We have two spots left in this workshop so if you are interested either call the shop or follow this link to sign up!  I love this project and believe me it will be a great addition to your Christmas or a spectacular gift to someone special.

Girlfriends is hosting a circle journal swap....space is limited!! The buy in is $20 and you receive this cute journal. If you have never done one of these they are really fun.....what you do is depending on how many sign up you make that many 6x6 mini layouts of yourself.....a picture of you, information about yourself ie: travel, hobbies, favorite foods,a favorite recipe, family etc and then you scrap them in your style..... the first page in the book has you on it so everyone knows that is your book. We will provide a list to everyone participating with addresses but what you do is each month someone's book will be sent or delivered to you........you do your page and then send it on.....sending the book you have to the person below you.....when the circle is complete you recieve your book back full of information about your all your girlfriends with their style!! The sky is the limit!!! I already know what i am doing for mine!! Burlap, kraft paper, sewing, lace, tags and charms just sayin!!!!!!! These are so fun and truly a keepsake when complete....I hope you will join us, these will be on a first come first serve basis as these journals are limited!! PLEASE DO NOT sign up if you cannot fulfill these little 6x6 projects each month, it is not fair to those who commit!! I plan on sitting down making all of mine at one time (they wont be that hard since they are so small) so when the journals arrive each month i can just glue them in and send it on!!
